It has been a blessing and a privilege for me to work with Del Sargent on this project. I consider him a true son in the faith. The number of people he has led to Christ demonstrates his heart and gift for evangelism. His desire to disciple and train others to share their faith confidently and effectively is evidence of his call as an evangelist. The vision for this book has developed out of Del’s deep love for Christ and compassion for others. Together we have summarized those elements of the Gospel message that Del communicates so well. When blended together, these points paint a clear picture of why Jesus is the only way to salvation.

My wife and I sat in on classes where many of the chapters of the Mystery Unveiled were actually put to the test as they were being written and fleshed out. I can tell you that it transformed the couples in that Sunday school class and made disciples and soul winners out of them. Many of them for the first time in their lives as believers began to win others to the Lord because they had a tool and the understanding of both the great truths of the Bible and how to explain them to others. Some have gone on to lead a half dozen or more to the Lord in less than a couple of years. This book is inexpensive, solid doctrinally, and it has been field tested with great results. I highly recommend that you consider it as an effective tool for evangelism. After all, the main call of the church is to win the lost, our only marching orders from Christ.

Statement Of Faith

I believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.

I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, the gathering together of the saints known as the rapture of the church and His personal return in power and glory.

I believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone are we saved.

I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and is empowered for personal ministry.

I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

I believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
